I stumbled across Pop Chart Labs' blog a while back and have been following their work since. They're based in Brooklyn, which almost automatically means they're awesome. They sell unique t-shirts and prints that can be framed and hung in your home or office. Check out their site. You might find something you like.

How cool is this?

U.S. Interstates as subway map. I'd gladly purchase a poster-sized version of this for my home.

Maryland appears set to become the 7th U.S. state to legalize gay marriage. The bill passed last night in the Maryland House with a 71-67 vote. A similar measure passed last session in the Senate and is expected to when the bill goes on to Maryland's upper chamber in the coming weeks. Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley lobbied the bill heavily and plans to sign the bill into law.

Maryland House approves gay marriage
Fri, Feb 17 2012

ANNAPOLIS, Maryland (Reuters) - Maryland's House of Delegates approved a gay marriage bill on Friday, setting the stage for the state to join six others where same-sex couples can today legally wed.

The vote sends the bill to the state Senate, which passed similar legislation last year. That measure stalled in the House when Republicans were joined by a number of African-American Democrats in opposing the bill.

Maryland's Democratic Gov. Martin O'Malley, a gay marriage supporter, attempted to rally the black lawmakers this time around to vote for the measure.
