GQ sometimes does these top-10 lists. Top cities to get easy booty, the best drinkto give the heaux, whatever. The magazine recently released its top-10 list of America's worst sports fans.
I can pretty much personally co-sign most of this list. Philly (#1 and #2 on this list...a damn shame) is only about 90-minutes north of where I live. They're fans are mean and bitter and angry. They'd stone the tooth fairy. I went to Maryland (#5) and can tell you that Terp fans easily deserve a spot among the worse. Maryland plays Duke (#8) twice a year in every sport. And everyone knows that anyone who roots for Duke in any thing also wants the terrorists to win. Maryland also plays WVU in football pretty much every years. They're mostly hicks. The MLB team where I live is in the same division at the Red Sox (#6) and the Yankees (#9). Penn State isn't all that far away. Their fans are as delusional as fans can be. I can 't speak on the other ones.
